I love tattoos. Everything about them. Lovelovelove. I'm pretty glad that I have an in-progress piece because I can focus on finishing it rather than planning out a bunch of other stuff I won't be getting done for a long time.

This is my in-progress baby. My pride and joy. I just booked my second session for September 2nd. Even though it's not finished, I get loads of compliments all the time. After my September session, I think I have one more "big sitting" (probably 2ish hours. My artist finished the outline in just 2 hours and he did both my calf pieces in 3) and then a short touch up session. It's only like, two days old in this picture, so the red lines have faded into light grey.

Aaaand here's my calves. They're about two years old now and still look just as good as they did the day I had them done.

^ I'm still in love with all your ink! None of it are things I'd get myself but they're all SO well done and seem well thought through as well so I think they're definitely something you can be proud of.

Thanks Kathy! Funny you say that because there's definitely some stuff I've had done that I seriously regret doing. Poor planning on my part.

Jenny: I've always loved that "Trevor Was Here" bit of your 18V tattoo. It's totally adorable!

I desperately want to have my feet covered. I don't really like the rabbits on my feet anymore. And aside from not knowing what to do with them, I'm also not looking forward to tattooing my feet again . Seriously, having my feet done was the WORST! I'd rather have my inner arms done a million times before doing my feet.

Don't worry Luna. It'll probably be like, 2 years before I a.) decide what exactly to do and b.) have the money to have them done.

Went in today for session two. Nick did all the black shading and some of the grey. Lady looks hella different now that her face is shaded.

We decided that next time I go in we're going to put some color in this piece. Not a lot, though. just enough to make it pop. I really dreading my next session. 3 hour sitting plus a major chunk of change to do it. Why do these things have to be so expensive :'(

I think I've decided on what to do with my feet. I'm leaning towards red and black roses at the moment. Mostly because it seems that roses are great for cover ups. I don't need it to "mean" anything. Plus I think they'll look ok with the other stuff on my legs. Maybe it'll be my project for next year.

I have this amazing half-finished idea for my next tattoo and I could look into it and finish it and get to it but aaahhhh, fuck having no money!!!!

Can't my mom works for one. Plus I feel like that might cause more trouble than its worth.
